3-Ingredient Aglio E Olio Recipe and Tutorial

It's Friday already! Wohoo! And it's TGIF again!

Anyways, I have here a step-by-step recipe (not-so-common recipe) to share tonight. This might be loved with pasta lovers! (Hm, I guess so.) Aglio E Olio mean "spaghetti with garlic and oil" in Italian, the simplest pasta dish ever.

Since everyone's so busy with work and anything else, here's a hassle-free dish. This recipe don't require precise measurement. I just used the following.

1 pack of pasta spaghetti (175g)
3 to 5 pieces of garlic (chopped or minced)
1 pack of extra virgin olive oil (20 ml)
pinch of salt (optional)

LET'S GET STARTED!

1. Cook pasta until al dente (well done).

2. In a separate casserole, saute minced garlic and let it cook until golden brown. Remove from heat. Mix the pasta and the sauteed garlic together and add a little salt if you prefer. Sprinkle some dried oregano and basil and serve.

I don't know if others will love this, but Mom and I find this dish satisfying. We're not weird. We just love extraordinary dishes.

Until next time lovely bloggers! (Wow! This is such a flash post.) :D

  3. They cook it just like this in Italy according to my cousins there. Personally, I still prefer good old spaghetti with the ubiquitous tomato sauce. ^_^
