Thanks alot to WanTing for sending me a present! I haven't expected it. I thought she was just kidding. I got the mail/letter last last night, I guess that was Thursday, when I'm with my assignment (concentrating XD). My cousin just approached me then hand me a present from unknown. This is very late, suppose to receive this last year.

It's a snail mail! For those who didn't know snail mail, this is what Wikipedia says; Snail mail or smail (from snail + mail) is a dysphemistic retronym—named after the snail with its slow speed—used to refer to letters and missives carried by conventional postal delivery services. The phrase refers to the lag-time between dispatch of a letter and its receipt, versus the virtually instantaneous dispatch and delivery of its electronic equivalent, e-mail. It is also known, more neutrally, as paper mail, postal mail, land mail, or simply mail or post. An earlier term of the same type is surface mail, coined retrospectively after the development of airmail.

This was my first time to receive a snail mail from a foreigner friend :D So yeah, that's it! This is really unexpected. :)

Cheap Tour - Southeast Asia

Our department had our local tour in Baguio last month, and yes, I haven't joined them cause my Mom planned to visit New York, supposing we wouldn't have enough money for me to join this tour.

Yet I got this pasalubongs from my classmates. :D

And last week, I had to absent in one of my subject (which is Entrepreneurship in the Hotel Industry) to go with my Mom to US Embassy in Manila. She had her interview for her US Visa and I need to be with them (Lola) to take good care of their belongings, that's outside the US Embassy's premises. No food, water, cellular phones, usb, headsets, and even colognes, alcohol and perfume. I waited outside for almost 4 hours, under the heat of the sun, staring to other people who passed by in front of me. Atlast, they approached me by 10. Sadly, Mom's visa was denied. Ok, next topic. Mom don't want to talk about it.

After the local tour, CTHM will have an international tour in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Hopefully, I will be able to get my passport by next month for this tour is on March 29-April 1. I got my appointment letter from DFA and will meet them on Friday, February 17, by 3 in the afternoon. Who'll never be excited about it? I haven't told anybody about this except Reren (one of my close friend in school) and Ate Glad (my seatmate last sem). The itinerary's with me right now.

I want to join this tour. I really want!!! Pretty please!

One of the major requirement in our subject Events Management is to manage an event in our school. This year, the faculty decided to have an Olympic which means a battle of competitive students in different culinary activities and categories. I have a lot of photos but I decided not to post them, I'm just so tired of everything. :X

Last week, I went to the CAP office here in Batangas. Yes, I am a scholar of the said plan. Mom and Dad have paid the whole amount of one of the scholarship listings, that was 2003, hoping that this company will help them regarding my college expenses. Mom was dismayed when the company was bankrupted last 2004. Just like other parents who invested alot for their children, Mom wanted to have our money back. The officer of CAP Batangas just got my enrollment forms, signed something and gave the forms back to me. She said that I just need to wait for their call to claim my checks, so now, Mom was so excited about the checks, but she knew that everything don't have assurance of when it will be claimed. I have read some blogs regarding this matter, and I saw a lot of concern people looking on ways on how can they claim their payments in CAP. One said, "CAP business is just like gambling in a casino without assurance of ever winning a game..what a waste of hard-earned money invested in CAP.."
I can't blame him/her, besides that's the truth.

Sorry guys. I really can't blog with the use of this operating system. My files (including notes, photos, vids, etc) were corrupted last week. Our pc's hard disk said goodbye after 11 long years. I tried to make a research on how to fix it but I guess I'm not suitable to make it back in life again. So what operating system I am using now is Linux' Ubuntu. My brother has a lot of installer and it never fails him. It's like Mac! But I'm still having a hard time figuring things out. No Photoshop, and other applications I used before.

Last year, I joined a lot of contest/giveaways about free planners. I joined Momme, Moonleaf, Starbucks, Belle de Jour and other planner giveaways. Sadly, I have not given a chance to win any.

But because of my "kakulitan", Ate Ro of Animetric's World gave one to me. Oha! :) I'm just so happy that she sent one of her planners to me last week. I received it in total package and I'm using it now for school memos and others.

Tomorrow, we will have our Midterm Examinations in English 106, and still, I haven't read my notes. The exam will start by 7 in the morning, which means I really need to get my self ready as early as 6. Phew. I wish I won't be late by tomorrow.

We had our prelim this morning in Finance 101, I got 41 out of 45. Tss. Honestly, I don't really know the answers on numbers 4, 8, something, I just took a guess. But still, I'm thankful I'm the third who got the highest score. Then we will have our preliminary exam tomorrow in English 106, haven't read my notes yet. I know I can answer the test with the help of my stock knowledge. :D

Hi friends and others. How are all of you? I hope you had a great day. Sorry for not updating this blog. Its been a year since I last blogged. LOL. I can't accept the fact that it is 2012 already. I don't have a planner yet. Phew.

Me and my sister had our vacation in Bulacan (and that's the reason why I have not blogged lately) from Dec. 21 to 28 and we had a lot of fun. On our first day, we ate in an old restaurant, which exisa for almost a decade. Their specialties are different dishes of noodles, omelette and other native dishes.

The family don't have plans to visit Bulacan yet, maybe it is because of the weather, or because of the money to be spent on the way to Malolos. Vacation started so fast. It was just last week when I talked about my allowance and now, it is nightmare. I thought that holiday vacation will be awesome, but first 2 days really disappointed me.

How will you define the word 'vacation' if your teacher told you to study your lesson + memorize two Spanish prayers + make a business plan with your groupmates + make a proposal for the layout and design of the gym for the Culinary Event? I guess it is not a vacation at all.

Here's the Spanish prayer our instructor assigned us to memorize.

I so love to have a planner for next year, but the problem was I have nothing to purchase one. So thanks to those bloggers who hosted a 2012 planner giveaway. I'm not really certain of how many giveaways have I joined. All I know is I'm hoping to win one. I used my best friend's facebook account since I don't have an account.

I so miss taking pictures outside. it's been (i don't know) month since I last took a picture with Mr. Casio Exilim. I guess, we really need to buy another, it's like it has no chance to be used again. My mom tried to look for a customer service outlet of Casio gadgets but she failed.

I don't know how to end this post. Sorry. I'm just really disappointed of everything.

Sorry for the late update guys. I made some changes in my blog last time. I changed the color to clean one. My past layout looks odd and lifeless. It was just a plain grayish-violet in color and yah. So I made some changes and revamped it, but I don't like my layiee to look so kawaii. Donation button is placed right after every post, so it will be noticeable. :D

One more week to go before the holiday vacation. I need to be ready for this because I'll never recieve allowance for almost a month. I heard that we're going to have a vacation in Bulacan (my mom's birthplace, approximately 3 hours drive from our house). It's almost a year when we last visited there. I so miss my cousins and aunts and uncles.

I mentioned in my last post my wishlist for next year.

Only 17 more days to go and it's 2012 officially and I don't still have a planner. I maybe too ambitious to have a Starbucks planner since I don't have money to buy their drinks, aside from the cost, I have a lot of things to prioritize than buying lusts for myself. Another thing is, I want to have braces, my teeth suck, really. I can notice those tiny droplets coming out from my mouth anytime I speak up, and yes, that's uncomfortably embarrassing. To have braces is a big thing. I am now saving money to reach Php10,000 for the down-payment. I wish it will not take 2 years or longer. You don't need a calculator to compute my savings. It is just a simple addition and subtraction. Deduct Php24 (transpo) and 35 (food/lunch) from Php100 (my daily allowance). I came up with Php30/day. Devide 10,000 by 30, and you will get 333.333333, or 334 days. It is almost a year or not, cause we have weekends, I don't have allowance on Saturdays and Sundays. Hayst. I'm still hoping it will never take that loooooooooooooooong.

It's been raining the whole time! (Sabi nga ng mommie ko, ang sipag naman daw ng ulan.) This morning, before I went to school, it was raining. Actually, we don't have classes today (Batangas City) for today is the celebration of that Immaculate something in our place. I don't know so much about it.

And BTW, I have here now my 7th-10th doodle. (Hurray!). I've decided to merged everything in one doodle so I will not consume too much ink and time in making 10 doodles in one night.

I choose TOOTHBRUSH. When I was in grader, I really love playing with my classmates. I don't care about the time or something. Then I fell down on a rough road and scratched my palm. So it bled, and I cried a lot. Some small stones got inside my wound and I really can't take them off. What my dad did was this; he grabbed a toothbrush and brushed it off. I cried and told my dad that he better stop brushing my palm, cause I'll be running out of blood. Haha.

After a stressful week, () I thought everything is over. I haven't accomplished my doodles, still don't have time for it. . 1 exam down. 5 more left. But I felt so exhausted this week. We've been through a lot of practice and we're cramming for preliminary examination. I don't still have books in Oral Communication (last book to buy) . Tomorrow, we'll have a rehearsal again. And I hope it'll be our last, because I;m really tired about my lazy classmates who are not following my directions. They're so maarte, even boys, there's no exemptions. I'm tired of shouting . So enough for that.

We don't have classes tomorrow. And oh, before I forgot, ~~I had the worst dream of my life yesterday morning!~~ And it really shook me off. Perhaps I can tell you that by tomorrow when I get OL again. Or next time. It depends on my mood, kk? It's just I don't wanna remember. Huhu. . My mom was right. Because I haven't prayed that night, so I had a nightmare.

Hey guys! Sorry if I haven't updated my 30DDC. Been a busy bee this week, with school stuffs, cause prelim is heading my way. I really need to answer my assignments and have to study for the first monthly test. Sadly, my tuition fees aren't paid yet. We're really broke. . Our instructor in HRM 111 told us that we're going to have a tour in Palawan. I know I can't come in the first place. . Mom is preparing for her visit in New York, and she needs a lot of money. The said tour will be 3days and 2nights long. Actually, we have 2 tours, Local tour, which is in Palawan, and it costs about Php10, 200 (estimated price, pocket money not yet included), and the second one is International Tour (Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia) which costs Php26, 000. Tour in Palawan is a requirement. What should I do now? I really need Php10, 200 for that tour. I really wanna go to Palawan. ~~Selling perfumes and shirt designing aren't enough.~~

So now, I'm begging. To those who are generous and open handed people out there. If you'll donate, that's a big help, and I'll be glad if you'll drop $1 each in my paypal. I guess that isn't too much. Isn't it?

My teacher in Spanish once told us that our brain can store about million of things as long as we live. And perhaps he's serious about that. He looks intelligent. Would that mean that he's not open for suggestions from his students? Sadly, there were teachers like that. It doesn't mean they're older than up, they knew everything. They're wrong. I guess you know already what i want to pin point.

I would make this simple by giving you an idea about what it means brain storage. When you go out on a date with your girlfriend you can remember every single detail that happened that day before , during and after the date. What you were wearing what she was wearing the place you went to every single detail . you could recall everything that happened as if it was an extremely high definition recording but not just Video and audio, the smell , the weather her perfume what you were thinking how the food tasted how did you feel in your heart , with an extremely wide angle view , you can picture the whole place even if you weren't looking that instance at what happened , you can even see yourself and your date in infinite different angles. even yourself as a third person.

So if we had an Extreme definition camera recording in every single angle plus a weather computer recording the weather , and another unknown types of recorders running simultaneously recording the thoughts , the smell, feelings ... etc . recording that single little fleeting date . You would need Infinite storage media to store. and if you could squeeze your mind a little bit you can remember and picture everything you have passed by though your entire lives. it's all stored in your mind using this super recording XD device. So I would say its infinite.

The way brain stores data is not bits with ones and zeros. neither analog having infinite possible combinations . it can picture the data using little information about it . which storage media cant do at all.

let me give you some example:

Imagine a house
A door
Open that door and get into the hallway
rooms to your right and left
the walls and their painting
Enter a room
its a bedroom
stand on one hand
get up
open up the window and look out side

Now the idea behind this is when I gave you this little info I bet 80% of what you pictured was your own house. and the bedroom was your bedroom with the same bed the same decoration paint etc. the window and its view is you bedroom's or some other bedroom you have visited before in a hotel or someplace ... You probably never entered that house this way or done a hand stand before yet you pictured it in XD as if it was true using those little few lines of text info. this is how a brain stores data. X-Def video = few text lines = 100 bytes using a normal computer text processor.

Tn other terms a 100 byte in a brain = more than 10 GB of XD video on a computer. a simple word "lake" 4 letters 4 bytes you can visualize or imagine an infinite number of lakes more than 10 MegaPixels resolution. lets say this word gave you a picture of at least 100 different 10MP lakes = 1GB

How about storing a study textbook of 1 MB into your brain which is extremely the simplest thing your brain can do. it would need more than 268435456 GB of imaging storage on a normal computer . how about what you studied and what you can study and learn .source..

Hola! I'm not posting something weird and stupid now (what is expected always). My uncle, which is my dad's cousin, that's why he became my uncle, came here in the Philippines to visit his family and relatives, and we're included ofcourse. Paikot ikot lang eh no? Wala kasi akong maisip isulat. Actually, that's how I make my post this long. And thanks to him, he gave us this raw almond nuts as pasalubong. Yum!

So here's the question:
What health benefits can we get from almond nuts?

Suppose to be, all levels (prep to college) here in Batangas don't have classes tomorrow. Why? I received a chain message and its all about this.

I asked my instructor if we really have classes, but she told me she didn't know, its up to me, its my decision if I'll be going to school or not. She also told me that UB did not cancel classes. I asked my sister to check our school's Facebook fan page for updates, but all we saw are complains of the students about having our regular classes. It was announced in the radio that it will be a busy street tomorrow and the city will close the national road for the convenience of those who are included in the parade. So I decided not to go to school tomorrow, instead, I'll watch the said parade and see how beautiful are those candidates of Miss Earth 2011.

Just got home from SM Lipa. :D So before taking some rest, I decided to update this blog with my third and forth doodle. I apologize if I had some delay with this. Got a really hard day last Thursday. Its not that I don't feel good, I really just wanna rest.

So recently, I attended a Thanksgiving Day in SM Lipa. Actually, there's no such Thanksgiving day in the Philippines, yet Del Monte (a food company) host this event. And from this, I have learned a new recipe. :D View it here. More recipes soon. :D

I've been experiencing it right now. *hachoo!* My left eye, I mean, it's cover keeps on twitching or beating. My dad told me its because it's too tired, caused by sleepless nights and the like. According to my research, muscle twitching is caused by minor muscle contractions in the area, or uncontrollable twitching of a muscle group that is served by a single motor nerve fiber. (source: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/). And the causes must sometimes:

Diet deficiency
Drug overdose (caffeine)
Drug side effect (such as from diuretics, corticosteroids, or estrogens)
Exercise
Twitches not caused by disease or disorders (benign twitches)

Often affecting the eyelids, calf, or thumb
Normal and quite common, often triggered by stress or anxiety
Come and go, and do not last for more than a few days

Hello fellow bloggers and friends! :D How's everyone? :D

I'm here to post what's recent, what's new. Well, Our teacher asked us to write something about us in the future. What would be our business 5-10 years from now? And this is my answer.

Ten years from now, I'll be owning a t-shirt printing shop, since one of my hobby is creating or making random shirt designs. It could be a couple shirt, an organizational shirt, a class shirt, etc etc. And I'm loving kawaii stuffs too. Besides, I'm planning to have an accessory shop in the future. Ok, I don't wanna share na. hehe. Laziness strikes.

Now, I'm lacking any sort of inspiration. So I decided to create this challenge. Hehe. Yeah, I thought of the things I can blog everyday. Then after writing it out, I put it on random.org to be ramdomized. Why should I have to do this? Because I want to be thrilled in every challenge for every day. Get that? So, to explain further, my rules are:

* To complete the challenge, I need to post 30 times during the scope of the challenge.
* Each post must have doodle with its corresponding explanation and text post.

As simple as that. So I wish I could complete this challenge. I promise to make a doodle everyday but I'm not sure if I can post it on a daily basis. Usage of computer is limited.

! :D After recovering from mild headache and sore throat, I found myself here in from of the computer updating my blog. I have sneaked here after my sister had used it so I can post something. My dad didn't allow me to stay long in front of this so I'll gonna have a quick post. :D

So, stated in my title, here are the stuffs you can find inside my bag, which I bring everyday for school. I don't bring too many things cause I don't want my bag to mess or something.

So here's my notebook, I made use of this last sem. I didn't consumed all of its pages, so it's now been recycled . My small pouch which contains everything. Hehe. My umbrella (Fibrella Silver Lite), my Domo wallet ofcourse, and yes, my super duper loved phone (Samsung Corby Pop).

I so love my phone. Last time when I went to Mcdonalds to pee, I left my phone inside the bathroom. Good thing was, an old good lady returned it to me. I don't know what to do if ever I lost it.

Irrelevant title.

Hey! How are yah? Everyone's busy huh? :D Well that's fine. Cause you're not alone. I'm busy with school too, though regular classes doesn't started yet. My other instructors are still in Singapore, and other places that's why they're not able to meet our class.

There's a lot of thing I want to share about school. But I've decided not to tell all.

As I mentioned before, we will have an Events Class, which means we will handle an event/function in the near future, and it will be a bit different from our catering last sem. Well, it's more different actually. :P Our class, same with the others will hold an interhigh/intercollegiate competition. it will be called as "CULTOURIMPICS; The Culinary and Tourism Olympics". I don't know who cam out with this theme, but yeah, it's pretty nice. And evertone is required to submit atleast one proposed shirt design.

I guess you know me already. I will never miss this oppurtunity. :D Have I told you that my design was chosen as our department or organizational shirt? *hihi* Actually, that's not important. I just received a 50% discount on the org shirt. That's not bad. :D

Ok, so, this first two photos are my design.

Blue is my motif. That colorful circles are the logo of Olympics, with the globe in the center, which represents tourism (all over the world), with noodle strainer and turner on top and bottom. And that random colorful vector is just a design. Nothing more. :P

I have been too concern for adults because they think they can't eat or taste even the smallest portion of everybody'y favorite -chocolate.

Chocolate lovers will be delighted to know that their favorite treat also boasts health benefits - how sweet is that? Research, although preliminary, supports the view that antioxidant flavonoids called flavanols, which are found in chocolate, may be associated with a reduced risk of cardiovascular disease. They decreases the stickiness of our blood and keep our arteries flexible. (All chocoholics, please cheer now!)

Alas, there is a catch: not all chocolate is created equal. Some chocolate products contain essentially no flavanoids, while others are packed with them. How can you tell the chocolate heroes from the nutritional loosers? In general, the darker the chocolate, the higher the flavanoid content. So be sure you look for dark or bittersweet chocolate.

OK, you're thinking great news about the flavanoids, but what about the saturated fats we see on the label? That's a bad fat, right? How can that be heart healthy? According to Penny Kris-Etherton of Pennsylvania Sate University in State College, Pa., a leading researcher in this field, the saturated fat in chocolate is predominately stearic acid, which does not raise blood cholesterol.

One thing to keep in mind as you're bailing veggies in your grocery cart to make room for good-for-you chocolate: this food of the gods is still packed with empty calories. Its best enjoyed with a little moderation on the side.

Foundation and Pressed Powder

Girls are girls. We love using beauty products for us to look pretty and presentable, other says because they think they look better with it and also may be a formal thing.

Yes, I wear make up too, but occasionally only. I don't use make up everyday, when I'm in school or wheresoever. I apply some when we have school activities such as sample interviews, Food and Beverage management, catering, etc. But before applying make ups, I use foundation or pressed powder.

I bought this stick foundation 2 years ago. This one is an Ever Bilena Advance Studio Finish Stick Foundation (Miel)

The consistency of this product amazed me. It's very creamy, the coverage is so good.

Applied on skin

I don't have brush to diffuse the cream. I just use my bare hands. :)

Aside from this stick foundation, I have this pressed powder from Avon as well. (Soft Bisque) This one is very convenient to use. I have this in my bag everyday. yes, my daily use. Girls don't need to grab a large powder bottle from their bag, place on hands then apply on face. And it is very economical :)

For the conclusion, I want/need both. :) They did their job well. (For me.)

So, for the other girls out there, I want to hear your voices. Which do you prefer, Foundation or pressed powder?

Life is so Random

What are the things that you're afraid of? Some are afraid of creepy insects, while others are afraid of the ghost, in the dark, hoping for nothing. I've been afraid of the dark too, but not with insects such as cockroaches, worms, and the like. Insects which lives on plants taste like junk food, I've tried to eat some before in a seminar discussing about exotic foods that can be eaten and some are profitable. I'm afraid of crowded places but i'm not really certain cause i can still handle myself when i'm in the middle of thousands of people, but i'm afraid someone will snatch my things, in short, in bad guys. I'm afraid to lose someone i love, i'm afraid to be hurt. I'm afraid to be left alone. I'm afraid to lose my phone. I'm afraid on how will i suffer from pain and die. It's not dying that i'm afraid of, it's on how i'm going to die. Why did I spit this out? I don't know. Mehehe. I just wanna share. :P

And yes, this past few days, I worked on my scholarship. Heard that right! My scholarship. My Mom purchased this scholarship 9 years ago, I guess, and we're hoping that we can get anything from it. The company have been corrupted before, and that's the reason why we stop our contact with them. So now, we're hoping that the company can stand on what they have promised us. :|

Advo (our campus journalists, is that really is it?) released its new issue of its magazine entitled Advozine [Metamorphosis]. As seen in the front page, she's Mariposa, yes, Butterfly! :) And that caught my attention to grab one and start reading. As what I expected, the magazine was comprised with awesome articles about our school, the country and ofcourse, internationally. The articles about some of the campus' anomaly caught my attention. I can say that I am not alone, I'm not the only one who experienced such things.

I hope that regular classes will start tomorrow. Excited to learn French. :D

Hairdo

Having this mark on my finger reminds me how careless I was when I tried to curl my hair last Friday.

I regret having my hair cut last Saturday. My hair became more loose and it doesn't fall back into place. I was pretty amazed by the commercials seen on Television. Why is it after using this kind of shampoo, others receive what they expected to receive. Less hairfall, smooth and shiny hair, just like after it was seconded. Why not mine? WHY!?

Perhaps it's in our genes that females in the family have a thick hair strands which is really unlovely.

And I found this somewhere, which explains why women cut their hair short. I don't know if I'll agree or I'll be neutral.

It's no accident that stressful or unpleasant days have been dubbed "bad hair days", since the emotions a woman feels when things aren't going well are almost as unpleasant as what she feels when she just can't get her hair to look nice or lie flat or conform to the style she wants. This is, of course, one of the key reasons why it's such a clear indication of displeasure when a woman cuts off all that beautiful hair. Women know how much men love their hair, and so when they cut it all off they are effectively cutting men off, from their beauty, from their attractiveness to them, from their love. It's a clear gesture of defiance, or dissatisfaction, or despair, a spiteful kind of emotional kick in the balls.

Actually, we have a special meeting to attend on Friday. And I want to get my self ready and presentable. I bought new dress. See my sister wearing my new black Korean inspired dress? It's a knee length dress so I would look so formal.

Second semester will start tomorrow, haven't paid my tuition yet. But I had my assessment last November 2, and here's my subjects for this sem.

Schooldays are from Monday to Thursday only, since Friday is declared to be an activity day. What does it mean? We don't have classes in that particular day but we have to go to school if there are any activities to be done in the campus.

I thought I'd be leaving this blog for good. Yet I came back for something. Why? I'm going to have a mini store, an online store, and I hope it will become bigger soon. Sorry for a short hiatus. I just found myself too busy for the semestral break. My relatives from other town went here and I got no time for this blog.

Last week, including last last week was very tiring. Our computer sucked that time and haven't visited this site even my tumblr. I really had a private life last weeks. Really. And from that, I can say that, I can really live without computer/internet (but please don't take my phone away from me).

I slept in my grandmas house and had fun talking to her. I felt I'm a princess cause she gave the things I need and what I want. It's like I never wanna go home. I wanna live there forever, which is can not be, and impossible to be. *T_T*

By the way, I planned to dye my hair a year ago but I don't have an opportunity to do it cause I am confuse if it will suit to me. The fact is, I don't wanna try cause I don't wanna look vain. (What?? O.O) I'll try some other time. I promise. Maybe, dark brown.

I got my hair cut today. Some of the articles in the internet stated that women cut their hair short because they're depressed, stressed, cause people all know that girls really love their crowning glory, their hair. How would it be? How will our hair affects our emotions? I'll figure this out later. But before I cut my hair, I straighten it, curled it, and finally, made to decide to cut it short after 2 years.

So now, which is prettier? XD

Study Habits

It's already our Final exam and we're all focused on our studies. We want to pass the exam for a better future ahead of us.

But before we talk about your futures, hehe, let's discuss about the study habits we have everytime we're on our last day study before the exam. Do you study alone? Or you prefer to have a group study in your friend's house? Do you eat while studying?

Well, here's mine, and I'd love to share it to you! :)

I can study while listening to music.
But I prefer watching DVD while studying. I just don't know why :P
I need a pen, a highlighter, to highlight those important terms.
I'm always in a prone position.
Sometimes, I eat chocolates, others said it can refresh your mind. Actually, I don't believe that. I just wanna fill my empty tummy. Haha.
I only use handouts when it's already final exam, cause I don't wanna waste my time writing few notes (Prelims, Semis).
I write what I recite.
I doodle time by time, so I can rest my mind.
I set a goal of studying the whole book for only 4 hours. It's helpful. Hehe.

Yet this list are mine. I don;t want you to do this cause I know you have your own study habits. By the way, i found this strategies on the net, it is said here that this is perfect for those who want to know the best way to cram for an exam.

Eat Frequent Small Meals
Avoid eating a big meal before a study session. Too much food will send your body into a ‘rest’ mode. On the other hand, don’t starve yourself either. Frequent small meals are best.

Study When You’re Sharpest
Study according to your body-clock. Are you sharpest in the morning or at the evening? Schedule your most difficult materials when you are mentally at your best, and schedule the easier ones when you are mentally less efficient.

Drink Water Often
Drink plenty of water during a study session, especially when you feel sluggish. Caffeine may help you to stay awake, but it can increase your anxiety – use it in moderation.

Don’t Get Too Comfortable in Your Chair
Choose a chair that supports your back. It should be comfortable, but not too comfortable. Just like an athlete during a performance, your body should be relaxed, so that all your energy goes to where it matters – your brain.

Clear Your Desk of Everything You Don’t Need
Have everything you need on the desk. Put away what you do not need for the study session. Seeing reminders of other assessments or domestic bills may increase your anxiety and distract you.

Take Breaks Every Hour
It is important to take a break before you feel tired and lose your concentration completely. Regular breaks at least once an hour helps to sustain your concentration. If the work is not going too well and you have difficulties in concentrating, you may need a long break and go back to it later

Stretch During Your Breaks
Know and respect your concentration span which will vary from hour to hour and from day to day. When you sit for long periods, gravity draws the blood to the lower part of your body. When you take a break, take a few deep breaths and get more oxygen to your brain: try walking around and doing some light stretching for a few minutes. It will help to release tension in your body, and help your circulation.

Study at the Same Time, Same Place
Study at the same time and at the same place, devoted to study only. This helps you to associate the time and place with studying and concentrating. You will find that you get into a habit of studying as soon as you sit down.

Cream and Lotion

Applying body lotion is one of the few inexpensive ways that people can pamper themselves. Do you use one of this? Well, as people (especially women) grow older, they uses cream and/or lotion once in a while. Why? Because these products help to regenerate, replenish (anti-aging creams), smoothen, and to soften dry and rough skins. Others make our skin glow.(Actually, only few men are concern about their skin, and there are skin care lines for them, in short, I don't care about what they use. Hehe.)

So here I wanna share what body lotion and hand cream I am using. What's for my hands? (Yes, I use different creams for my hands and body ^_^) I use Marks and Spencer's Aloe Vera Hand & Nail Cream. And what can I say about it? This leaves my hands soft and nourished and sinks in well. It has a nice fragrance, which is I need not to put some cologne of my hands. Its thick and very handy. :) I always have this in my pouch.

How about the lotion I'm using? Obviously, I'm satisfied with this Jergens® Replenishing Vitamin E
Gentle Exfoliating Moisturizer. Its not ~~sticky~~ like others do. I've been using it for almost 5-8 years. It does it's job and is still a great buy.

No photoshops or something, here's my lovely hands! (Actualy, they're not lovely. I just assumed.)

Big Mistakes

Every single day in my life, I think about the mistakes I've done to myself and to other people. I didn't know how did I handled it before. I have no idea how would my life be if this/tht didn't happened.

I saw this large eraser yesterday. Then I came to think, what if there's a huge eraser to erase our mistakes in our lives literally? I would be so grateful cause it'll be so useful. YeartoSuccess suggested some tips on how we can handle our mistakes. And it runs this way:

Take action to better the situation quickly. You may not always be able to correct the mistake right away, but almost always you can do something to better the situation. The key is to act quickly.
Do not call attention to your mistake unless it is necessary. Some mistakes do require public attention - as in the Ford incident. However, most mistakes can and do go unnoticed unless the one who makes the mistake calls attention to it. A good example of this is in public speaking. While giving speeches, I sometimes lose my place or skip some content, but the audience does not know it because I never say "Whoops... I lost my place" - I simply continue on like no mistake was made.
Don't play the blame game. If you made the mistake, or if someone for whom you are responsible made the mistake, take responsibility for the mistake. Admit your error and assure others that you are taking action to improve the situation. Trying to avoid responsibility for a mistake for which you are responsible does not say much for your character.
Apologize. If your mistake negatively affects others, apologize, especially if they bring the mistake to your attention. Do not try to justify or explain your mistake, simply apologize.

Shooting Incidents

It's SM City Batangas 3-days-sale tomorrow and I don't know if I'll go there or not. First and foremost, I don't have money so it's expected that I'll just stay at home with my junk of lessons and some snacks. Secondly, I'm afraid of what might happen the time I'm inside the mall. This past few weeks there were two incidents that made me confused of roaming around the mall. How will I explain this lah?

1. A jealous lady shot her husband dead.
2. A boy did the same way to his boyfriend. (Imagine, they're only 13&14 years old) I guess.

These two happened inside the mall (SM), which means even inside the mall with a lot of security guards, you're still not safe to roam around. Well, we never know. Perhaps we're their next victim. (Oh please no.)

And I wanna show you one of a leak video of the boy who shot his boyfriend, they're still alive yet the officers are just standing there, watching the two, waiting for their breath to loose. WTH!?

I'm not yet done watching this vid. I just can't watch it.

It's been a month since I last posted in this blog. I've been busy with my nonsense tumblr lately. :( And I've been missing Susan. :(

Last month was a super duper busy month, while this one is a cramming month. Actually, there's no difference between the two. It's our final exam tomorrow but I'm here in front of our computer, updating my blog. :) So here's what we had on our last catering event last August 3, which is supposed to be last month. (September 28 or 28). So here's our set up. (The table, the room design and the stairs, and yeah, us. :P )

But inspite of that, I still managed to look sexy. Haha! Kidding!

Hi guys! I'm using tumblr recently, that's why I don't have time to update my blog. Chos!

And sadly, we're going to have our last function on Wednesday. Another exhausting day for me. :| I was assigned again in the invitation design. So I made it just simple as this.

What can you say about this? ^

Btw, I have here a photo of my school tie.

I don't know how to tie this perfectly, my Dad did this for me.

I tried it on my other tie, which I use in Food and Beverage Service. And wholah! See that? I made it! Perfectly! Haha! Congrats to me.

So here's how I did it. How to knot a tie perfectly.

Another thing was, my Dad found this last week. A dual sim Cherry Mobile phone. It's battery was too low so we can't open it the time he found it, sadly, we don't have this phone's brand which means we're not able to charge it. So what I did was removed the sim, inserted it to other phone. The sim has a lot of text messages from the owner, begging to return her phone.

The phone now is on its owner. :)

I'm currently suffering from hairfall. I don't know but my hairs are everywhere, in the kitchen, in my room, in the bathroom, even in our classroom. So now, I always tie my hair up, I don't care if it'll shape to something bad or not. I used anti-falling hair shampoo before, but it didn't worked. Hayst. I'm too tired and sick of this. :((

Busy Bee

I can't find my skirt! I have an interview tomorrow and I'm cramping here yet got time to post in my blog. Hehe. Despite of badvibes, I have managed myself to relax and smile. :) We have another function again, actually, it's our last, next Wednesday, and its going to be an appreciation party for our beloved and supportive parents. They'll be our guests. So I'll be busy this up coming days for the preparation of this special event.

Btw, I revived a gift from my bestfriend last week. It's a Korean Rabbit Pen. :) Instead of using this for nonsense, I decided to keep and preserve it. Haha.

And yes, I have another doodle here. I promised not to draw anymore, yet my hands can't be restrained. Instead of studying in Accounting, I did this cause I really don't understand the lessons. I hope you know how I feel. I tried, I failed. And this time, I'll try again. This would be my last doodle until I passed that subject. :P

We'll be having our tour in Macro Asia on October 6 this year, I hope I will enjoy the said tour without a camera. T.T

PS. I passed by this store last time and I wanna rip everything inside it. :P

Atlas, i have bought a new pair of shoes. Congrats to me. Well, this one's an acne shoes, with 1 1/2 inch heels. I had hard times using heeled shoes (my schools shoes has a 3 inch heel) before. In 5 of the students in our campus, 1 of them is wearing just like mine. Not actually the same as my shoes look, but as a whole, from a far, you'll tell me we have the same, but if they walk closer, you'll realize that they're not. We don't have classes this morning, I am not updated with that so I came so early, haven't enjoyed my sleep.

Yesterday is a big day. We went in La Salle to watch BAFBEX '11 (Batangas Food and Beverage Exposition). I did enjoyed everything from the start to finish. I was able to see how the students worked in their perspective area competitively. Yes, from table set up, chocolate praline, live cookery, cake decoration, bartending, napkin folding, bed making, quiz bee, mocktail mixing and other stuffs related to Hospitality Management.

So here's the souvenir I got from one of the students who participated the said competition. :)

Done With our Second Catering

Say hello to my dinner, Chocolate Porridge. :)

After a very hard time preparing the foods and everything in the function room (Patio Cafe), still, job well done. I worked on a lot of things, I can't enumerate all. It'll flood my blog. Haha. Actually, it's really hard for me, John and Glad cause we're the only one who fixed everything. It's like, nobody existed. You know what I feel? ~~Nevermind.~~

Next week is our Semifinal exam. And I don't care about it. I mean, I'll prepare for it. Hehe. I got my grades 2 days ago and I'm very disappointed. T.T I really need to focus on my studies, pause for a moment in Tumblr and Blogger, and read a lot. This isn't a joke, I really need to focus. We don't have grade in Catering class yet, everyone's incomplete because of that Financial Statement our instructor demanded.

I don't like hotel accounting seriously. :P My first day with that subject, my head ached. No kidding. Haha. ~~I really don't like Math.~~ It tackles about debit and credit, blah blah blah.

And yeah, here's the food we served last Wednesday. Pasta ala Carbonara, Clubhouse and fries. My classmate isn't uploading the pics in her FB account yet, so please stay tuned for more photos. :)

Another month is on. September, too much pressure! Finals is already headin my way. Long weekend is already over. I didn't enjoy it btw, I got sick, not really, but I feel that way this morning.
This month, we'll be having our tour in Macro Asia, the catering service inside NAIA, are you familiar of that? I guess so, if you reside in the Philippines. I don't know the exact date, maybe its 20-24.

Hey guys! I just wanna type. I just want, no other stories behind. Actually, there is.

First, I enjoy typing using my brother's old laptop. It's inside my room now. I using it for encoding my aunt's students grades. Get it? I hope you did. It's soft, unlike the keyboard I'm using in our You can't here me typing, I really like it.

Secondly, I want to own a laptop too. I don't know why they don't wanna buy me one. Actually, I know. I'm an internet addict and they don't want to push me through this addiction. They're concern about my health. yet I really want one. So I will not brag about opening the desktop and staying late at night in our sala, don't know what's in my back, doing my assignments. Laptops are convinient, right?

Someday, I'll buy one. I don't know when. Money's just like wind to me. It will never stay in my wallet for weeks. That's the pproblem. I can't save. I have a lot of expenses. why am I like this? I've read a lot of tips on how to be trifty, yet I can't do it.

Hayst. I know someday I can have what I want. But I don't wanna keep that in mind. There's more important than owning a laptop. I know.

Music is my passion

Most of the time, when I'm in mood to write something to post in my blog, I listen to music. Music is the pattern of sounds produced by people singing or playing instruments.

I'm fond of Secondhand Serenade and Owl City. For me, they sing the same genre of music which I love a lot. I'm not an emo person, but their songs are very appealing to me. Let's include Set It Off. They're not the kind of music that will make your ears freak out. Its like, they're swinging you to sleep, yet very sweet and you can feel the heart in it.

First Catering

I thought August wouldn't nice for me because of what happened last August 1, but things proved me wrong. Hehe. Nah, by the way, here's an update on what happened last Wednesday (Aug 3, 2011) in our Catering Event at Patio Cafe.

I got here a lot of photos but surely, I will not spam you with those, just a little maybe. :)

I just have here some of my doodles I've made recently. I don't listen to my professor and I mean it. I've been doodling the whole time and I prefer to study alone than to listen to my teacher.

This two are for my bestfriend. We've been friends for more than 10 years, and our 11th anniversary would be on August 24. Additional year for us! Yehey! I don't know what to give her yet. Any suggestions?
Plans? I'm planning to give her a personalized shirt created or designed by me, a Korean notebook which I purchased last month at the mall, it's quite cheap though, I hope she'll appreciate it. I hope I hope I hope.

What A Great Day!

My cousins from Canada arrived yesterday. That made me busy last night, so I got no time for blogging. My cousin's busy using our computer to update his friends in Canada. It's their vacation till August so they're spending their time with us.

This afternoon, we went to SM Batangas and hang around with them. We tried the 4D Max, and that's a lot of fun. We were shaken inside the cinema cause we chose that horror movie, yet we're all laughing inside. It's not that scary cause the movie's for children. Here's the link for our video.

We took our dinner in our favorite Pizza House, Yellow Cab. It's suppose to be at Pizza Hut but there's a lot of people hanging around. We ordered for the Manhattan Meatlovers Pizza and a liter of soda.

Nothing much about school for tonight since everything's in perspective.

I just wanna show you something. Here's my penmanship which really sucks. I'm writing about what we discussed in the previous lesson in "Rizal's Life and Works and Writings".

In Accounting (subject), I don't feel like listening to my professor. He's talking about the T account for Hotels' records. That's why I made this doodle in my book. Hehe.

Hello my dear prized friends and venerate followers. Good first light to one and all present here. I trust everything is going fine.

I miss blogging. I've been in hiatus for almost a week, I guess. Sorry guys. :( My attention focused on my studies. We had our exam already. And we'll be having consecutive exams this week. So well, I guess I'll not be around this week.

Btw, Me and my sister made this yesterday just for fun. She's Ynna.

And we don't have classes last Friday, typhoon Falcon is in the house. It's not raining here actually, but there's flood everywhere. My sister invited me to come with her in the mall, so I don't have choices. I don't wanna feel bore.

There is more Korean invasion happening in the Philippines right now. If only Korean songs (K-pop) or Korean Telenovelas are the only thing hooking up Filipinos, you’re totally wrong. Even Korean food and delicacies are starting to make their way to the general Filipino population. Kimchi is starting to a favorite by many Filipinos. And there is Magic Pop, a Korean snack that is being introduced to our country. Php39/$.91 or $1 per pack.

We had my favorite popcorn too. Cheese flavoured popcorn for only Php40/$.93 per tumblr.

So that's it, we just roamed around the mall and eat and eat. Haha. So that's all for tonight. This week is going to be fun, I know. :)

Our school made a club called Camera Club right after my brother broke our camera. And that's what I'm knuckling about. I don't have any chance to join the said club. Perfect! I just recovered from severe headache. Blame climate change! Haha! Actually, it's really its fault.

Look, our school is having a football team! I can still remember how they cheered for the Azkhals, and now, they wanna follow their path.

I'm adding one subject so my schedule will overload. Kidding! :P I just thought that I need to add this one (Feasibility Study) so I'll not think of it next year. My schedule isn't very hectic. I don't wanna waste the semester with 4 days vacation and 3 days classes a week.

I gained alot of followers in tumblr this afternoon. :) Actually, it's not the followers that count, it's the number of people who's interested in your life and reading what you post.

Second Day in Class

I have nothing to say about my 2nd day. I only have 1 subject (5 units I guess) for 5 hours, which is Catering. I roamed around the mall today (yesterday was in school :P), and I found my self taking some photos of foods I like.

Pik-nik, LOVEY! One of my favorite. I don't know when I started to love this shoestring potatoes. I just can't resist it. Here are some chocolate sticks, and chocolate coated biscuits. Did you heard about Pepero? Pepero (빼빼로) is a cookie stick, dipped in chocolate syrup. It's a Korean biscuit. Yeah! All of this stuffs were like pepero. I have tasted it already. I'll buy some next time. :D

Btw, these made my day. :D Thanks hunnie SUSAN who made this Domo-fansign for me. She's really beautiful. :P

And for now, I'm memorizing the Mission and Vision of our University and the College department also. I've been with this before, and now, with it again. (I hope there are changes next week.)

First Day in Class

I was so excited in my first day. So I dressed up early and I expect a lot. Whew! I'm just like a freshman who first stepped in the university. Haha. Good thing is, Ate Thel (our neighbor), paid for my transpo fair. Thanks to her, I was able to save 14% of my daily allowance. What's weird now is... I came late. O.O my instructor was already inside the room (AP505- yes, in the fifth floor, that's why I came in our room panting). (First subject- Hospitality Industry with Law) Hey! Look who's there! She's my favorite instructor before, my teacher in Bakery Science. We had an assignment already (in the very first meeting), yet she dismissed us early. The next subject was "Human Resource" (Sir Andrew), then "Life of Rizal", then "Accounting". Phew, FIRST DAY WAS A BORE.

I got here a photo of our room's airconditioning unit, which made me sneeze the whole time.

I haven't roamed around our school yet. After lunch my feet walked into here. The cafeteria. I so miss my friends, we used to chat and talk here before. :(

Outlining Before Writing.

When you are preparing to give a talk or write a post, or composition, it is advisable to plan it in an outline. I building a house, you begin with the framework. Likewise, the first step in composition writing is making an outline. The process of outlining in preparation for composition writing in may be approached in following three ways. Building from small ideas, developing from a central idea, and using anticipate questions. If you have ideas in mind, list them down for parallels. Then, arrange them in sensible orders. Enrich your outline by associating some ideas with new ones. If you are thinking of broad or control ideas, break them down and the minor details of a paragraph. A third process is taking cues from anticipated questions.

Philippine History

I've always had a fondness for Philippine history. But the problem was, I have this short term memory loss, so after reading and reading, I can hardly remember what is it all about.

Before, we had this subject Philippine history or social science. They said that the best way to appreciate a country is to live in it and to learn about its culture, and that's what we did. Just for sharing, I've learned that 3 reasons made Philippines a unique nation.

Firstly, religion. Filipinos are predominantly Christian in the Asian region. Secondly, because of its political history. Philippines is the first Republic in Asia, being the first Asian nation to achieve independence by revolution and establish a Republic in 1898-1901.

And finally, Filipinos are unique for culturally assimilating four heritages, the indigenous Asian, European, Latin and American heritage.

If you'll ask about resources, we have fertile soil, a good tropical climate and rich natural resources like forest, energy resources, mines, fisheries and abundant plant and animal life.

Where did the name of the Philippines came from?
The name FILIPINAS was given uo our land in 1543 by an Spanish explorer Ruy Lopez de Villalobos. It is to honor Prince Felipe, the greatest king of Spain. As time passed by, the spanish Felipinas was later anglicized to Philippines in 1946. And it was so called Pearl of the Orient.

Here in our country has the smallest active volcano in the record, Taal Volcano, which is located here in our place, Batangas.

The most expensive shell which is the Glory of the Sea and the world's largest pearl which is the Pearl of Allah were found here too. This isn't yet half of Philippines history and features, if you'll spare some time to explore and read, you'll realize how beautiful our country is.

But despite of that, we still fell in line with the third world country, we still suffer from economic crisis. It isn't progressing. The government isn't moving. They took too much time talking and arguing about rh bill and divorse bill. T.T How I wish I can do something for this. But I'm just me, my voice isn't loud enough.

Since it's just a week now before my classes start, I need to set things up and make sure that everything's ready. Things to bring;

Bag. I love bags before't but now, I'm not into it. Perhaps it's because I don't have money to purchase one, unlike before. Btw, here's what I'll use on tuesday.

Notebook. Of course we all need one, very necessary. Mine was small notes packed in one large case, consist of 5 thin notes. Perfect. For I have 5 subjects this sem.

Pens. I have here 3

Papers. We don't use intermediate pad anymore.

Pouch. This is not required actually. I'm just use of it. I bring this everywhere I go. Whats inside are toothbrush, toothpaste, powder,perfume, blush on, foundation stick, liquid and pencil eye liner, ointment, and comb.

I guess that's all. Of course I'll bring hankerchief and umbrella, my phone and some cash. So yeah, after a year, I'm getting myself ready for school again. Am I too excited?

And yeah, my new doll shoes. It's in sale in the mall. :)

Just woke up from a deep sleep. Haha! I just thought I wont wake up. My legs hurt so much! Yesterday is a great day. My relatives and us, [namely tita susan&tito rey's + sons and daughter (gia, gio, kc and clark), tita vibo and jahdiel, lolo lino and tiya tuwa, tita vicky and tito noel, tito noel and ate richie + sons and daughters (zisha, reniel, zaireh, ritzwel, rizha), tatay and momie + kuya jerick, me, and ninay] went out for a swimming, atlast, prayers were heard.

That's my sister, and the lil one was ME :)

Other thing, I have read Hun's post about her Mom, I wanna share what other stuffs me and my mom do to spare some time;

If she wants to walk and exert some energy
we go for a walk inside the mall since it's just 45 mins drive from our house
It includes window shopping, shopping, done trips and games
If my mom wants to stay at home
we create new dishes from ordinary recipes
we watch movies together, more on cartoons and animated shows for children, she likes that
we watch cooking shows on youtube
we just sit and relax and talk about random things and laugh and laugh and laugh.

Filipinos are very fond of singing. For the past century of their existence, singing have been a part of their daily lives. They sing depends on the occasion. Celebration is always accompanied by karaoke or videoke. Even we're not in tune in times, we just ignore it. We can't be blamed, we just wanna express feelings through singing. Researches before showed that singing is a good exercise. Yesterday, people really enjoyed the beach.

How are you guys? Me? FINE as always. But haven't been in the beach yet. :( Haven't touch sea water yet. Sadly, we don't have time to go to the beach cause everyone's busy.

Oh yeah! I'm done with the tuition payment. So below are my subjects. I thought we will not have any laboratory classes. :O I don't wanna use my laboratory gown/chef's gown. See, I only have 5 subjects.

And I only have to attend class 3 times a week. I have my schedule already and I guess I need some stuffs to be listed so I can spare my free time for important things.

Enrollment Tomorrow

I'm going to school tomorrow for the enrollment and I hope everything's gonna be fine. Phew. And here's the schedule of enrollment for this year.

I'm really excited to go back to school. Someone promised me that if I got good grades, I'll have a DSLR for free, as a graduation gift ofcourse. ^_^ (I promise I'll study hard!) And here's the subjects I'm going to take. I'm not yet sure with my section, it's either HR1 or HR2, perhaps it depends on the schedules.

I hope I'll not wear my school's odd uniform. It don't looks nice, really. :P

Bye 5 followers on Tumblr. It isn't a big deal, but yeah, for me, it is. :(

Oh! Yesterday, me and my bestfriend Soh went to Manila, just for a visit and to buy some stuffs (and for experience too). I travelled for almost a day, that's why I felt so exhausted. We ate on a Japanese Restaurant in Binondo Manila. My bestfriend doesn't want to show her beautiful face, so, just enjoy my look! Haha! That's pork tonkatsu (mine on bento) and I forgot the other one. :P I actually don't have any cash except for the 100 peso bill ($2) my Mom have given me before I depart. Haha! Yet I survived! And I'm still alive! Hurray!

That's the exhausted me. My cam didn't work so we used my phone's camera.

I'm going to recite the Philippines' Board members, as well as the senators cause I have a Civil Service Examination on Sunday. So yeah, that's it for today. I'll update again, if not tomorrow, I guess, it'll be next week. Haha!

I wasn't able to update my blog last night cause my mom called and everyone's so excited. It's like, she's in Hongkong or somewhere else outside the country. Haha. Yes we know she's not. I wanna say thank you for the one who listened to my story last last night.

By the way, I'm craving for sushi, kimchi, lasagna, mcfries and hot fudge sundae. :( I hope by next week I would be able to taste all of these. I don't like foods, I love them. But if you'll ask me how about cooking, I'm sorry but I'd rather answer the next question. Haha. I just love taste foods, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, and eat alot. :D

Because Mom's not in the house, I was forced to create dishes for my family. I don't have any photos. :( My mom brought the camera. :(

Just got home from SM. I have to go their because I need a passport size photo of me for my Civil Service Examination on May 22. I am with Tita Ethel and her family. I have blogged about her before when we went in Bicol. Her son was from Germany, and he visited Philippines for 3 weeks. I didn't expect I'll join their dinner. We ate at Flavours of China. Ok, so, I'm not use of it, their son's in front of me, and I can't even move. It's my first time to eat with him. Lels!

I ordered this beef something. Ok. I don't know how they call this thing.

By the way, their siomai is nice. Just like other siomai I bought on street sides, the difference is that, Flavour's are so expensive. I'll never try to eat here alone. Haha!

Yeah, I got my money from working so hard with our laundry. Haha! Just kidding. Xp

I'm just a thrifty person. That's why I got this LOVELY SHOES. :D It costs Php 1,200 (or about 27.6312 U.S. dollars per pair)

I am so excited to wear this :D

I got another check on my wishlist. :D

Oh, btw, I was invited in a graduation ball. :D My exclassmates told me they're going to have an event, just like a college prom. All were dressed in their best. Some are in Cinderella's, Snowwhite's and more. My classmate's were the organizer, so they just dressed in uniform. I just feel sorry for the flaws I have made. :( I'm not really good in public speaking. Oh, I'm the ugly girl in the middle. See?

Hello there! Been busy here. Sorry. :D

Me and my bestie in front of Enchanted Kingdom, a theme park in the Philippines. It is located in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, about 29 kilometers (16.1 miles) from Manila. It has a land area of 17 hectares (41 acres). The park is managed and operated by Enchanted Kingdom Inc., formerly named Amtrust Leisure Corporation.

Hey how howdie, how are you guys? And how was your life going? I would like to know. :) By the way, how was your February 14? Mine was super okay. I had a lot of fun with my family. Fyi, I don't celebrate ~~Valentines~~. We had a cool tour in Manila, but still, disappointed. Korean restaurant in MOA was ~~closed~~. And noones selling Melona. It's our priority why we joined the tour. Maybe that Shindangdong Restaurant in Makati's the right one for us. [Please don't make us feel upset.] We watched the sea lions danced 2ne1's song in Manila Ocean Park and they're really charming. Sorry. I don't have photos of em.

I have tried this frozen yogurt and oh my! I want more! Pretty please. This is a self served yogurt. There are a lot of frozen yogurt flavors, i have chosen vanilla, so i can put a lot of toppings cause i have a plain base. It comes with raspberry syrup topped with white chocolates, gummy bears a piece of cherry and chocolate sprinkles.

Yum! I got there cute chocolate bar and cupcakes too.

And this spiral potato chips are awesome!

Our last destination was Mall of Asia. Again. But this was my first time to see cute hermit crabs with paintings on their shells. I have watched this before on television. THEY'RE LOVELY!

By the way, i got my very first Domo Kun item, a fury hat.

Our dinner was fine. Them we got curious with this halo halo from a Kapampangan's restaurant. It just taste like ice cream, but sweeter.

My sis got this but little notebook. I really love to travel. The only problem is, aint no money to support this whatever.

I'll post something here after Valentines. We'll be having a tour and I have my family with me (except my brother). I know it will be fun! So now, we're so excited! Like "Whoa! Where's my clothes!? What will I wear!? Sandwiches! Potato Chips! Prepare the camera!" And whatever! Haha!

Alcoholism

FYI,

Do you really think drinking alcoholic beverages will help you escape problems and depression? Nah, I don't think so. I have learned before, in our Bar Service Management Subject, that too much intake of alcohol can cause cancer of the kidney or worse, death . So, if you got a lot of problems, drinking isn't the solution. Why not face it or tell it to your friends instead of being alone in your house taking beers as your companions. That's why we do have friends to talk to. By the way, speaking of alcohols, do you know that their are only 6 types of alcoholic beverages?

(1)Wine usually has an alcohol content of between 10 and 15 percent, and is made by dignetation of grape juice. Here are the examples. Ops, some are just empty bottles. And under wines, we have (a)red, (b)white, (c)rose, (d)light red wine, (e)dry white wine, (f)dry rose wine and (g)full bodied red wine. I didn't know if there's missing. Google it if you wanna know. Haha

The second one was (2)beer. It's so popular, that's why I don't have to post a photo just to illustrate.

The third one was (3)brandy. Brandy is a general term for distilled wine. Unless specified otherwise, brandy is made from grape wine. There are 3 different types of brandy, grape, pomace and fruit.

Fourth, the (4)spirits. And for the different types of spirit, we have vodka which are distilled from potatoes and filtered through charcoal. The other one is rum, and it is made from sugarcane by.products such as molasses and sugar cane juice. And under rum, we have dark and light. Another type of spirit is gin. It's a strong alcoholic beverage and it's ideal for mixing with many fruit juices and liqueurs to create cocktail drinks and its two types are Dutch and English gin. The forth type of spirit is tequila. And the last one was whisky. There are so many types of tequila and whisky. I know you'll get bored if I'll enumerate it.

I guess Korean Soju belongs to spirit because it's somehow comparable to vodka.

Fifth type of alcohol is (5)liqueurs and bitters. The picture below is Baileys Irish Cream and it is an Irish whiskey and cream based liqueur, made by Gilbeys of Ireland. It's so yummy! Even kids can try this, ofcourse with the guide of their parents.

And the last is (6)cocktail, which is a style of mixed drink.

By the way, this Mirin is a Japanese cooking wine or rice wine. I actually didn't know which type did this fall into.

I Play at Work

Hola! Sorry guys for not updatin gthis blog. I've been busy with my domains and I don't have any stuffs to share in here (before).

By the way, I'm glad to tell you that I started my job officially, and it was yesterday. I didn't know if it'll last or not. But, if you'll ask me, I'd say YES! Cause I really enjoyed what I did yesterday. Actually, I just sub my friend cause she's not around to take in charge that day. So, I can say, "It's my turn!". I've been a TOUR GIUDE for one whole day. I really enjoyed the trip for it's not that tiring. I want more! Haha!

We depart by 6am and arrived at the first destination by 8:00 am. Ricky, Me and Boss Bobby in Liip Laguna waiting for the Facilitator of Go Nuts Donuts. (9:00am)

Our second destination was Davao Crocodile Park in Boom na Boom Pasay located near MOA (SM Mall of Asia, third largest mall in the world) and Star City (a theme and adventure park).

It's a small zoo with a lot of crocodiles, different kinds of shark and fishes, birds, monkeys, snakes, goats, and others. Most of the animals there done cute tricks and stuffs such as catching there foods which are thrown in the air, dancing, talking, etc.

Bicol Tour

I am very thankful i have given an oppurtunity to visit Bicol. Our family friend Tito Rodiger and Tita Ethel Richter offered me to join in their tour. That was Dec. 27, 2010. We depart by 10am I guess. I had packed my things 2hours before the departure. I forgot to bring my ~~jacket~~, but good thing I brought the yellow one, thinner and shorter. Before we go, we had our super late breakfast in Starbucks. [Inside the car.]

I have here cinammon roll and Caramel cream.

Then we started the trip. Tito Rodiger was a drag racer. Haha! Kidding. But he was suppose to be. Tita Ethel always shouts, Rodiger! Rodiger!. Unlike me who enjoyed the ride all the way to Legazpi. At 2pm, we had our super late lunch at Maxs Restaurant Lucena. I had a piece of chicken and theirs was sizzling tofu, and some vegetarian stuffs. In our way, we encountered 6 buses and a truck stucked with minor problems. We saw 3 other vehicles, ruined and abandoned. Perhaps its because of sharp curves along the way.

We never gone in a wrong way. They have a map and they checked it for several times. They always talk in German and all I got to do is to keep quiet.

By 8pm, we looked for a hotel or a pension house where we can spend our night. We found Villa Esperanza. The light was ~~so pale, the bathroom was so dirty~~. Everything was so disgusting. We have no choice but to stay there to spend the night.

Early in the morning, I have taken a bath already and prepared for the departure. We had our breakfast by 7:30pm. Then we go again. We arrived in Albay by 12:30 in in the afternoon. We arrived at Cagsaua (which I misread as Casagua) by 1:30 and roamed there for 1 and a half hour.

After having fun with Cagsaua, we shopped till we drop.

We took our lunch at 3pm. And we went back to Naga by 6pm. We had our diner inside the car by 8:30pm. We arrived at my friends house by 9pm and spend the night there. My sister called and my mom did too, asking how was my day. Tomorrow (Dec. 29, 2010), we will attend a wedding and I did not know if I could understand them (they're Bicolanos ), I hope so. "Tomorrow will be another tiring day for me. Aja!"

Wednesday morning, we attended the wedding and after 5hours we went to SM Naga. The sight from SM's 4th floor.

My last dinner in Bicol was a plate of Pancit Canton (Chowking SM Naga).

Phew! That's what heppened! Hehe. You, how's your vacation btw?

Pansol Hot Spring

Just got home from Calamba, Laguna! :D Yey! I had so much fun even though we're just few. I mean, we're just 10, ok? We visited Pansol for some reasons. (1. It's vacation, 2. Oldies like to soak to hot water 3. It's boring at home.) So, we departed by 4 in the afternoon, and arrived there at 6. There's nothing new in there. I have forgot to take some pictures of the place. Haha! The photos below are all I've got. :P And oh! I also forgot it's name (the resort's name, Pansol Hot Spring I guess). Haha! I didn't mean it. I just recalled it was beside Villa Navarro Hotspring Resort.

The pool isn't compose of tiles, volcanic rocks instead. That made the water in the pool hot. There were fishes too. But you can't ~~feed~~ them. All you can do is to stay in your place and let them bite your feet and thigh. Haha! Yah! The admin told us that fishes are going to eat our dead cells. And I've tried it. They tickled me a lot. I like that feeling.

Here's that Korean Rice Cracker and Japanese Rice Crackers (I guess it's Japanese, am I right?) They are the same in texture, but ofcourse, different in taste. Korean's sweet.

Fashion and music have always been regarded as twin vanguards of self expression. And I have been influenced by them when I started to fall in love. Joke! Music keeps our life going. Other says music is life. It is somehow true for life without music was really boring. I love music but it really depends on what genre will I listen to. Its like a relationship. There has to be a certain level of commitment. But sometimes this thread got to be pulled off. Emotions tell you what kind of song will you listen to. When youre gay, there were love songs, when youre upset, there were sad songs. But one more thing about music that passionate me a lot was it can tell how people feel. I know how to play piano, just the simple do re mi. I can play the guitar too.

I have here some myx (hey! it's me! ) magazines and they are awesome. Its a music magazine here in the Philippines. One reader said that this mag was really cool, it keep readers updated on music industry especially the local music scene. Ofcourse not just the local, it contains international music news too. I have bought an issue with Super Junior and Wondergirls trivia. That was the 19th issue I guess. Hindi talaga sya nakakasawang basahin. Very informative about our favorite local and int. Artists. How about you? Do you have music magazines too?

Kimbap not Sushi

Last night, my brother bought some ingredients for sushi. But what we made isn't sushi. Haha! I'm insane. We made the Korean version of sushi. (Am I right about that?) Kimbap or 김밥 is a steamed white rice (bap) and various other ingredients, rolled in gim (sheets of dried seaweed) and served warm in bite-size slices. [source] Yeah, cause sushi is a roll with raw fish, we definitely don't eat ~~raw fishes.~~

Haven’t tried this brand of Nori Sheets yet. But it’s cheaper than the other one we use to buy before.

It's done! Ohh! It's too big! I like it that way! ♥

I ♥ to EAT!

I'm very fond of eating and suppose I must be as ~~stout~~ as my younger sister but I'm not. Hahaha! So, I am very thankful about it. I always wanna try different kinds of foods. But for now ~~(I don't have any coins in here)~~, I have tried this fried noodles and fried ice cream for my lunch yesterday.

That thingy is clean, I guess. It just look so ~~messy and dirty~~ because of the first batches of noodles which were cooked in it.

First, the lady placed some noodles and bean sprouts in that metal thing, and later, she put some secret sauce. I guess it was just "oyster sauce". Haha! In a minute, all are set and done.

They have six different sauces, just put some of it in your noodles. I like ~~Sweet and Spicy~~ but I have chosen that KOREAN mix. That's how I love Korean foods!

Here's how simple mixing was.

It was served with siomai or Chinese dumpling and a glass of Black Gulaman.

And for my lunch dessert, I have here Fried Ice cream. I asked the vendor how come it was called Fried Ice cream if they didn't use ~~oil~~ and ~~didn't fry it~~ at all. The vendor just smiled at me and ask for my address. Well, I'm not interested to talk to him though. I just wanna know why it was called that way. But I got no answer. I just enjoyed what I have.

That was so......hmmmmmmmmm! I'll buy again if I'll pass in that mall again. Haha! Last night when we talked, my brother promised to take us to that Korean Restaurant found in Makati, so we can try that controversial fish cake/ 오뎅. He told us that was indescribably delicious. I'm really excited about it. So, bye for now.

This is really gross! Look what my sister found in this cheap junk food. A cigarette butt in the package. I mean, this isn't a food. THIS IS A JUNK!!!

I have sent a complain already on the mail I found in the package, and I'm now waiting for the companies reply. Hope they'll reply asap. My Mom can't believe this. This is really @#$%^&*^!!!

Get Lost Ant!

What happened to me yesterday? 'tis was like, I'm going to ~~DIE~~. After watching TV, I dropped by to the kitchen to munch something. I saw some small ants on the floor and swipe them with a broom. I am about to go back to my room to get my phone when an ~~ant got inside my eye~~ (my right eye) and bit me. That really hurts! I burst out and cry! I can remove that stupid ant in my eye cause it was hooked. It really feels like dying. T.T I made use of cotton buds and I guess that made my eyes turned into red, red as blood. I asked my sister to help me get rid of that ant but there's no way she can pull it. I'm crying a lot, she cried too. Haha! After 1 hour, the ant was still there, and I'm bleeding. (Nah, not my eyes, my heart.) I can't feel my eyes anymore. Huhu! T.T

My sister suggested to use a tweezers but I don't think it'll work. So, I did lose hope. Crying is all I can do. T.T (Domo called, it's like I'm gaining hope again.)

I used that tweezers for the first time, yah, it didn't work. And fot the second time....ATLAST! It's like winning a million dollars! A new life, and a new eye. Hahaha! Yeah! I'm crying at the same time I was praying. I am so thankful cause I was saved from that dead ant. So woooh! I sprayed Concentrated Mineral Drops on my eye, hoping it will recuperate soon.

My best friend arrived here at Batangas by 8 o'clock in the evening. And yeah! We had a lot of thing to talk to. But she didn't spent the night in my room. She prefer to sleep in their house for the first night, and in mine for the second night. Not in my expectation, she drag me to come with her at Laguna. I thought we'll just watch movie and go back home but we didn't. She showed me where she works. And after a long time of walking, ofcourse, we both felt tired and hungry. We stop by at Rustan and mingle with other foreigns. I thought I could eat in a Korean Restaurant but, GRRRR!! It's close! ~~Wth~~!

So I just decided to buy a Korean Noodle for breakfast tomorrow. That Kimpin Restaurant was the Korean Restaurant I'm talking about. Next to Shabu-shabu.

Yeah! Because I don't know why I have lost my appetite so I just ordered a cheap lunch for myself. See? (Jolibee)

Yeah! here's the Korean noodle. Name is translated at the upper part. Kimchi Ramen.

Aha! I didn't miss my favorite place after lunch! SUTAHBAKSU! (Koreans use to pronounce it that way.)

And this is me. Pretending to be ~~BORED~~, but I am actually NOT. LOLOLOL

And to lose those fats on our belly, we took a walk around Nuvali. Btw, NUVALI is located in the cities of Sta. Rosa, Calamba and the Municipality of Cabuyao in Laguna, part of the growth corridor of the CALABARZON Region.

NUVALI can be accessed through several exits along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX).

Directions from Manila:

Take Sta. Rosa exit from SLEX, then 7km to the right, or
Take the bus to Balibago, then take a tricycle ride from Sta. Rosa exit (tricycle terminal) to NUVALI

50 mins from Makati (approx. 40 km)
30 mins from Alabang (approx. 25 km)
15 mins from Sta. Rosa Exit (approx. 10 km)

We arrived home by 8pm. Yeah, me again, with meiji apollo chocolate. I actually didn't know how people call that thingy, yet it's (Y)ummy!

I will now work on my unfinished business. I have a lot of things to do. Tahahaha!
